Financial Peace University Cake

For our last Financial Peace University class, I decided to make a cake to celebrate our freedom from credit cards! My original idea involved a 9x13 cake cut in half decorated as a credit card, but with the time crunch I had, I had to settle for drawing it. :o) It was delicious!

  1. I'm so jealous! Lou and I have been doing the steps off and on for years! Where did you take it?

  2. Hey! We took it at Asbury in Madison, I really enjoyed the class and the couple that taught it was awesome. They start back in January if you need a refresher! I am trying to get Do and Nate to take it, it would be so good for them!

  3. Are those real scissors? If not, where did you get them? I want to try something like this for my FPU class! —Blair

  4. Oh goodness! I have to apologize for not telling you sooner that those WERE real scissors- unfortunately they were part of a gift- they separate to form knives and my dear mother-in-law got them, but I am not sure from where! So I thought they would be perfect in order to cut the cake with them AND show the cutting of the credit card! Again, please accept my apologies for not seeing this message sooner! (Although I am sure your class is already over and done with!) :o(
